Perspectives Film Festival (2020)
PFF20 embraced new conventions of film-viewing, pushing the boundaries of physical festivals into digital territory and reconfiguring physical ancillary programmes to the comforts of viewers’ homes.
Conveying the identity of “Truth”, universal notions of factuality were challenged through the use of colour symbolism and visual associations. In contrasting blacks and whites with muted colours, the arbitrary dichotomy of truth was intentionally confused through an introspective tone. The use of warped visuals challenged conventions of truth as a linear consequence, symbolising truth as a malleable medium.
Awards
This brand identity won Second Runner-up in WKWSCI’s Spotlight Awards 2021, under the Vanguard Awards category for Esthétique entries.
It was also an entry at the Singapore Crowbar Awards 2021, under categories of Design and Digital/Innovation.
